Welcome to the Karaku blog.
This May, KARAKU celebrates its 5th anniversary since its brand was founded.
This time, a Japanese illustrator who is attracting attention for his modern 'wa' style,
This is a joint project with Mr. Yoshiki Minatoya.

Introducing Mr. Yoshiki Minatoya
Yoshiki Minatoya is known for his unique painting style that combines traditional "wa" elements with a modern sensibility.
I mainly create watercolor paintings with cats and monsters as the theme of 'Wa (和)'.
We present works that interpret old stories and Japanese sensibilities in a modern way.
In particular, works depicting monsters and cats are loved by many fans.
Collaboration work

In this collaboration, we released a T-shirt item themed on five cats drawn by Minatoya.
The design combines the 'stylishness' of Edo period ukiyo-e with the 'wit' of modern times, creating a harmonious blend of traditional beauty and humor.
Each cat is a work of art with its own story and personality.
