A while ago, my colleague in the Korean department told me that a Korean customer really liked my designs and thanked me for them. I am so honored and happy to hear this news! Thank you very much! My colleague told me to write a blog post to introduce myself, so I will briefly talk about myself and my designs.

Since I was a child, I loved drawing on paper. My mother said that I was more patient than other children in observing the world around me and drawing the beautiful scenery. Drawing not only gave me joy, but also gave me a sense of accomplishment when I finished the work. That’s why I pursued a career in design. Since I always liked expressing things through simple lines and colors, my design style is also mainly characterized by simple lines and minimal colors.

Why did you get into fashion design?
Actually, I think this part started when I was young. You probably have tried on your parents’ clothes without them knowing, right? I did too. When I opened my parents’ closet at home as a child, it felt like opening the door to a new world. I enjoyed feeling the texture, pattern, and style of each piece of clothing, coordinating them by myself, and transforming myself as if I was walking on a runway. I even had my own fashion show, creating five or six different styles with just one silk scarf. Even now, I still like wearing my dad’s clothes (I have quite a few jackets and shirts in my closet that I stole from my dad). These clothes are not just clothes, but vintage items from “dad’s brand,” and can be said to be a fashion tradition that has been passed down in the family.

About the design of the golfing skeleton
In fact, this design was inspired by my boyfriend's thoughtless remark. "When you play golf, if you swing your skull hard, won't your head fall off?" That's exactly what gave me the idea and this design was born. Interesting designs actually come from quirky ideas that come to mind in everyday life.
