NAVAJO
The Navajo are a Native American tribe living in the American Southwest and are an important element in American vintage style.
American Indians are known to have migrated from Siberia to the American continent across the Bering Strait, which was connected to the mainland during the Ice Age, and the Navajo are believed to have settled in the American Southwest around the 14th or 15th century.
At first, they were an agricultural people who grew corn and other crops, but after making contact with the Spanish who had destroyed the Aztec Empire and moved north, they obtained horses and sheep. Not only were the sheep used for food, but the wool they made, called 'Navajo weaving', continues to be a craft.
The wool used in Navajo weaving has a beautiful luster and is used in a variety of products, including fabrics and thick sweaters. In addition, the Navajo weave using a unique loom, and each pattern has a special meaning and is therefore highly valued.

Navajo weaving, one of the traditional crafts of the Navajo people, boasts a history of 300 years and is an important indicator of the culture developed by their ancestors. The patterns are mostly abstract and have a very decorative effect.
