캐스킷(casquette)은 헌팅캡(일본어: 鳥打帽)의 일종이며 미국 등에서는 신문팔이가 썼기 때문에 뉴스보이캡(newsboy cap)으로 부르기도 합니다. 19세기부터 20세기 초에 걸쳐 서구 젊은이들과 노동자들 사이에서 유행했기 때문에 외국 영화 중에서도 흔히 볼 수 있는 모자 종류입니다. 둥그런 복고풍 분위기가 특징이며 착용자에게 젊은 느낌을 주기 때문에 남녀 불문하고 인기가 좋습니다.
