남인화포는 비무형문화유산으로 등재되어 있는 전통적인 아이조메 기법.
그 형각 기술에도 쌍방의 장점이 융합되어 화려한 무늬가 많은 것도 특징 중 하나.
남발염법(藍抜染法)이란 먼저 천에 남색을 염색해 놓고 그 색을 뽑아가는 방법입니다. 형지(型紙)를 놓고 그 위에 특수 발염풀을 놓으면 그 풀을 놓은 부분이 하얗게 색이 빠집니다. 아주 미세한 무늬를 새긴 작은 무늬나 중간 정도의 무늬를 새긴 중형과 당초는 그 대표적인 것으로 일본에서 폭넓게 행해진 독특한 수법입니다.
